OCU falls to Hannibal-LaGrange 1-0 in overtime

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – Oklahoma City University men's soccer team had their first loss of the season against Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) 1-0 in two overtimes Friday in the John Brown Classic at Alumni Field.

Hannibal-LaGrange's Gilberto Romero scored the game-winning goal in the 103rd minute on a penalty kick.

Stuart Hilton, a sophomore from Liverpool, England, led the Stars, ranked 15th in the NAIA, with two shots with one shot on goal. Andy Fitzpatrick, a sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., held strong on defense with a total of six saves for the match.

OCU record is now 2-1 and will face Bethel (Ind.) on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in Siloam Springs, Ark., in the John Brown Classic.
